SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials, in particular to compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used in making facing tiles. The ceramic mixture contains clay, granite screenings from crushing stone, natural barite and carboxymethyl cellulose, with the following ratio of components, wt %: clay - 76.9-86.0; granite screenings from crushing stone - 10.0-14.0; natural barite - 3.0-4.0; carboxymethyl cellulose - 0.1-0.15.
EFFECT: low firing temperature of articles.
