FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device for laying of cables, designed, in particular, for laying and distribution of electric cables and having an oblong shape (1) with U-shaped cross section, comprising a unit of two side stands (3), forming arms of the letter U, and a base (2), forming the bottom of the letter U. The side stands (3) and the base (2), are substantially made of a composite material and/or reinforced plastic, and at least one side stand (3), being connected with the base (2), is installed as capable of rotation around an axis (30) of rotation, by means of at least one loop (4), and at the same time the device comprises facilities (35, 26, 63, 7) of instantaneous coupling and facilities (22, 23, 38, 29, 27) for stop development, being arranged as capable of fixation of the side stand perpendicularly to the specified base (2) under action of its rotation.

EFFECT: invention provides for easy and quick conversion of a cable-laying gear from one configuration fit for its manufacturing and transportation, into a U-shaped configuration for its assembly in situ.
