FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device, which is arranged in accordance with a bridge circuit, comprising fully controlled keys with back-to-back diodes connected in parallel, phase loads connected as star, and a control unit, comprises a new control unit according to the technical solution, which includes a driving oscillator, a generator of control keys connection pause, a generator of a three-phase pulse sequence and a setter of parameters of a period of output voltage T and load capacity ratio cosφl, the input of which is connected to the load circuit. Another subject is the method to control a three-phase inverter with a DC link equipped with a control unit generating a pause between connections of controlled keys, and pause duration between connections of controlled keys of opposite inverter arms, if values of cosφl=1.0÷0.8 amounts to 0.05÷0.044T.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced weight and dimension parameters of a device, higher reliability and quality of output voltages due to monitoring and control of a pause generator.
