SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of mixtures which can be used in making facing tiles and household ceramic articles. The ceramic mixture for making facing tiles contains kaolin, feldspar, potsherd, phosphogypsum, calcium phosphate and ground quartz sand, with the following ratio of components, wt %: kaolin - 67.0-69.0; feldspar - 8.0-12.0; potsherd - 4.0-6.0; phosphogypsum - 0.5-1.0; calcium phosphate - 1.0-1.5; ground quartz sand - 13.0-17.0.

EFFECT: high heat resistance of articles.
