FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: one kidney is removed in white laboratory rats. A renal pedicle of the second kidney is compressed with a vessel clamp for 1-2 hours, and then the wound is closed. Immediately after the surgical intervention, the anesthetised animals are exposed to graduated gravitation with a different direction of the acceleration vector along the animal's body. When the vector is directed either to the single kidney, or to the tail, blood flow to the kidney is provided. When the vector is directed either from the single kidney, or to the head, blood outflow from the kidney is provided.
EFFECT: method enables controlling the ischemic intensity and ensured acute renal failure of varying severity over a relatively period of time for further detection of the nephroprotective and nephrotoxic properties of drugs.
