FIELD: packaging.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to threaded plastic closure devices, moulded of plastics materials, and to packages equipped with such closure devices. The package for carbonated and similar beverages comprises a container and a closure device which can be screwed onto the container by implementing the corresponding interacting threaded design elements. To facilitate the discharge of pressure of the gas in the space inside the package during the removal of the closure device this package comprises at least one ledge preventing the rotation, which can be located inside the ventilation groove made either on the container or on the closure device of the package. In accordance with the present invention the ledge preventing the rotation is made with the configuration which is asymmetric in the vertical direction relative to the helix line defined by a respective one of the threaded design elements of the container and the package closure device.

EFFECT: design facilitates the discharge of the gas pressure from the space inside the package, and, in addition, provides convenient manipulation and removal of the closure device by the customers due to minimising the torque necessary to remove the closure device.
