FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism comprises spindle running in bearings, chuck, spring-loaded feed and clamp tongs and fitted in said chuck. To increase spindle maximum tolerable rpm by decreasing radial sizes of bearings in bearing assemblies of the spindle, said chuck is secured in spindle in cantilever and formed by bodies of air cylinders of feed and clamp chucks adjoining the cylindrical barrel at opposite sides. Said cylindrical barrel accommodates feed chuck travel adjustment nut arranged in threaded part of air cylinder piston cylindrical surface.
EFFECT: higher rpm of spindle rotation.
