The ceramic mixture for making brick and tiles contains clay, ground dry scrap brick, ground fibre-glass wastes, spent grains from wine and cognac production and silica gel, with the following ratio of components, wt %: clay - 82.9-85.0; ground dry scrap brick - 0.1-1.,0; ground fibre-glass wastes - 10.0-15.0; spent grains from wine and cognac production - 1.0-1.5; silica gel - 1.0-1.5.

EFFECT: high water resistance of articles.
