INSTALLATION METHOD OF CASING STRING LINER IN WELL Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC E21B43/10 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves lowering of a liner with a suspension to a well, installation of a liner on the suspension provided with ribs for jamming in the well section specified as per caliper survey, cementing, detachment of drilling tubes, flushing of the shaft above the liner, lifting of drilling tubes immediately after cementing and waiting for cement curing. At that, the suspension made of longitudinal corrugated tube of diameter that is larger than inner diameter of the well is located on lower end of the liner. Below the suspension there arranged is shoe from easily drilled material with a calibrated hole allowing to enlarge the corrugated tube of the suspension till pressing of its ribs to the well wall by pressure drop created by pumping through that hole of liquid with a certain flow rate. At that, the tube diameter and number of corrugations of the suspension are chosen so that after it is expanded, external longitudinal channels sufficient for cement pumping and internal channel sufficient for passage of borehole equipment can remain.

EFFECT: reliable installation of the casing string liner of any length at the well diameter differing from the design one, and tight isolation of the space behind the string.
