FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to breeding, in particular, to a method for functional feeding of sows and piglets. The method for functional feeding of sows and piglets envisages usage of a lactic acid additive in the basic animal ration. The lactic acid fodder additive is administered to sows during the whole pregnant period in an amount of 0.1 ml/kg of live weight daily; the lactic acid additive is administered to piglets in an amount of 0.2 ml/kg of live weight at an age of 14 - 35 days daily. The lactic acid fodder additive is represented by a complex of lactic acid bacteria improving animal digestion function and increasing immunity.
EFFECT: said invention usage will allow to enhance animals immunity as well as to preserve livestock, increase piglets size at birth and live-weight.
