FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming the parts made from round sections of common steel, alloyed hardly-deformable steels and alloys and nonferrous metals. Proposed method comprises reduction of billet by cup-like rolls arranged with offset relative to trolling axis and inclined to the angle of rolling-off. Ordered axial strip-like macrostructure in lengthwise direction with favorable fiber orientation in articles subjected to axial stretching moments and torsion forces results from total reduction making, at least, 50.6% and strength forming of, at least, 4.1 in one pass in rolls in diameter making, at least, 2.8 diameter of billet arranged with offset equivalent to feed angle of, at least, 25 degrees to produce deformation source with taper of 15±2°.
EFFECT: higher service properties.
