FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of industrial waste water and environmental protection. Waste water from production of ballistit powder, which is contaminated with nitroesters, is treated with sodium carbonate to pH 7-8 and passed through an adsorber which is filled on sections with sulphonated coal and ion-exchange resins. The purified water is then released into the drainage. The sulphonated coal used is SKD coal and the ion-exchange resins used are cationite KU-1 and anionite EDE-10P. Spent resins are regenerated and can be reused, and spent sulphonated coal in wet state is taken for destruction.
EFFECT: method provides complete purification fro nitroesters of industrial waste water, which is cheap, and this technology is wasteless and ecologically clean.
