FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: annular diffuser of axial compressor of turbine machine includes external wall (44) and internal wall (48) coaxial to it. Diffuser channel (42) passes between walls annularly along axial length from end (52) located on the flow inlet side with extension to end (54) located on flow outlet side. Internal wall (48) and external wall (44) include wall surface (46, 50) restricting diffuser channel (42). At least in one section (A) of annular diffuser, surface (50) of internal wall (48) and/or surface (46) of external wall (44) is rotational and asymmetrical. Section (A) is located at end (52) of annular diffuser (14), which is located on the flow inlet side, and passes to rotational symmetrical section (B) that is located relative to direction of passage of flow of annular diffuser (14) downstream of rotational asymmetrical section (A). Rotational asymmetry has determining axial circuit (60) that forms angle (α) with the axis passage direction. Value of angle (α) is between 0° and 40° and differs in different axial positions of section (A).
EFFECT: effective conversion of kinetic energy to static pressure.
