FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: mixer includes a housing and two separate ball valves for cold and hot water. Coaxial reduction gears in metal housings are installed and fixed on bowl-shaped projections of bodies of ball valves. Outlet shafts of the above reduction gears are located coaxially to stocks and connected to them either directly, or through a rotation limitation coupling. On inlet shafts of reduction gears there installed and fixed are supporting sleeves and plastic or metal handles, which have inner cavities corresponding to the shape of bowl-shaped projections of valve cones. Handles fully close bowl-shaped projections of housings in which reduction gears are installed.
EFFECT: attenuation of hydraulic impact, increase in tightness of a mixer, reduction of forces required for shutting-off, simplification of selection of head and temperature of water and denser water shutting-off.
