FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric drives with an inductive mechanical motor for pulse mechanical effects of varied forces onto the load, such effects having adjustable magnitude and duration equal to (1 - 5)·10-3 s, in industry as well as in seismic oscillation sources using during seismic survey works on the earth surface and in water. The drive includes an inductive dynamic motor consisting of a flat excitation coil with an electrically conductive armature plate adjacent thereto and a semiconductor main circuit containing capacitive energy storages with charging devices and a switching thyristor.
EFFECT: operational control of the magnitude and duration of the mechanical pulse created by the armature.
