FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to metal forming and may be used for straightening of metal strips ≤1 mm thick. Expansion stress is created between the set of braking and pull rolls in metal strip that males, at least 70% of yield point. At least, lengthwise curvature is corrected in one set of multiple straightening rollers by sign-variable flexure. Note here that diameter of straightening rollers allows the strip to follow straightening roller curvature at selected stretch. Note also that said diameter increases from roller to roller.
EFFECT: decreased lengthwise curvature and higher strip flatness.
