FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to air blower with lateral channel for vehicle heater. It comprises blower casing section 14 with feed channel 18 surrounding central axis A and open on first axial side 16. Section 26 of drive motor 30 with drive shaft 36 is made integral with blower casing section 14. It includes first feed impeller 22 closing feed channel 18 on first axial side 16 of blower casing section 14 and fitted on first end 46 of drive shaft 36. Besides, it has control unit casing section 54 made integral with blower casing section 14 and/or motor casing section 26 and provided with peripheral wall 56, base and opening opposite said base. Said opening is stopped by gate 74. It differs from known designs in that, at least, part of control unit casing base section 54 is formed by motor casing section 26.
EFFECT: simplified design.
