SUBSTANCE: charge for glass production contains the following components, wt %: soda 8.0-11.0; quartz sand 78.0-84.0; metal-oil scale 8.0-11.0. The chemical composition of the solid part of the metal-oil scale is as follows, wt %: FeO 48.5; Fe2O3 32.3; CaO 6.4; MgO 1.9; SiO2 1.5; Al2O3 1.6; admixtures - balance. Water resistance of glass - hydrolytic class. Glass has green and brown colour.
EFFECT: production of colour glass with higher water resistance.
