FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing siloxane rubber modified with diphenyl units via co-condensation of diphenylsilanediol with a prepolymer which is obtained by copolymerisation of dimethylcyclosiloxanes and methylvinylcyclosiloxanes in the presence of an anionic catalyst, wherein the co-condensation reaction is carried out in the presence of an additional portion of said anionic catalyst at temperature of 130-170°C with azeotropic distillation of water and subsequent neutralisation of the anionic catalyst and distillation in a vacuum of unconverted cyclosiloxanes.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain unstructured siloxane rubber modified with diphenyl units with penetration of up to 270 arbitrary units.
