FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel mixing and spraying and may be used in development of fuel atomisers for liquid-propellant rocket engines. Proposed method of feeding oxygen-kerosene-hydrogen fuel consists in forcing said components into combustion chamber via coaxial-jet atomisers. The latter comprise hollow tip communicating oxidiser chamber with combustion zone, sleeve covering said tip with clearance and communicating fuel chamber with combustion zone. Said atomisers are arranged in concentric circles to make central and peripheral zones. At first stage mode, oxygen is fed into combustion chamber via said hollow tip with developed outer surface of coaxial-jet atomiser, while hydrogen is fed via shaped clearance between tip and sleeve and kerosene is fed via channels in said sleeve. Note here that outlets of said channels open into combustion chamber. Their inlets are communicated with kerosene chamber. At second and subsequent stage modes, oxygen is fed via hollow tip, hydrogen is fed via shaped clearance between tip.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mixing.
