FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: in controlled electric drive there are six semiconductor switches (transistors) connected to the supply DC mains and stator windings of a non-standard three-phase six-wound asynchronous motor having three identical pairs of stator windings. Collectors of transistors are connected to stator windings of the non-standard three-phase six-wound asynchronous motor, at that collectors of odd transistors are connected to inputs of stator windings of the non-standard three-phase six-wound asynchronous motor while collectors of even transistors are connected to outputs. Emitters of the transistors are united in a common point and connected to negative side of the supply DC mains. Outputs of odd transistors and inputs of even transistors of the non-standard three-phase six-wound asynchronous motor are connected to positive side of the supply DC mains. Transistors are controlled so that half-wave sine voltage is delivered to respective stator windings.

EFFECT: improvement of the device reliability due to exclusion of potential through currents of stuck-on transistors.
