FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device relates to continuous-operation mixers for making compositions of loose materials by consecutive dilution to be used in food, chemical and construction industries, etc. Proposed mixer comprises vibration drive and vertical cylindrical loading bin with multi-turn perforate helical chute with bottom continuous turn secured to its surface. Two through holes, top and bottom, are made in bin wall above chute ends. Moving shutter and unloading pipe are arranged behind top hole at the end of last turn. Insert shaped to solid of revolution is arranged at loading bin bottom level with bottom hole and aligned therewith. Insert outer surface has second multi-turn perforated helical chute with lower continuous turn is secured thereat opposite aforesaid first chute, said continuous chute being terminated in fixed shutter nearby lower hole. Note here that one or several top turns of second chute feature smaller width that that of bottom continuous turn. Note also that every turn of said section may no be wider than that under it.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mixing owing to perfected design of extra helical blade top turns.
