SUBSTANCE: cast-iron contains the following, wt %: carbon 2.2-2.8; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.8-1.2; chrome 0.15-0.2; barium 0.0001- -0.0002; molybdenum 0.3-0.4; nickel 3.4-3.6; calcium 0.0001-0.0002; tungsten 0.5-0.7; tellurium 0.0003-0.0004; and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: increasing cast-iron thermal resistance.
