FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to airborne carrier flight control means. Proposed system comprises plasma actuator arranged at aircraft surface, AC voltage source to generate AC voltage signal and device to control AC voltage signal output to plasma actuator. Said plasma actuator is arranged to stay ahead of recess in compliance with free airflow direction. Proposed method consists in that actuator causes air ionisation and develops forced flow to cause flow separation in boundary layer over said actuator and deflection of said separation layer behind actuator from said recess.

EFFECT: decreased weight, lower operation costs.
