EXPLOSION-PROOF CONTACTLESS ACTUATOR Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC H02P1/16 H02P1/26

Abstract RU 2489794 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: explosion-proof contactless actuator has 5 opto-triac switches, each connected in parallel to a varistor and an RC circuit (1-5). A capacitor is connected in parallel to the light-emitting diode of the opto-triac. Power leads of the first opto-triac are connected to supply voltage and a motor phase. Inputs of the second and third opto-triacs are connected to the second supply voltage phase. Inputs of the fourth and fifth opto-triacs are connected to the third supply voltage phase. The outputs of the second and fourth opto-triacs are connected to the second motor phase. The outputs of the third and fifth opto-triacs are connected to the third motor phase. The cathode of the light-emitting diode of the first opto-triac is the negative terminal of the control signal and is common for the start and reverse signals. The anode of the light-emitting diode of the first opto-triac is connected through a non-cutoff diode D1 to the cathode of the light-emitting diode of the second opto-triac and through a non-cutoff diode D2 to the cathode of the light-emitting diode of the third opto-triac. The anode of the light-emitting diode of the second opto-triac is connected to the cathode of the light-emitting diode of the fourth opto-triac. The anode of the light-emitting diode of the third opto-triac is connected to the cathode of the light-emitting diode of the fifth opto-triac. Anodes of light-emitting diodes of the fourth and fifth opto-triacs are the positive terminals for the start and reserve control signals, respectively.

EFFECT: longer operational life and smaller size of the actuator compared to electromagnetic actuators.
