FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire safety systems, and namely to water intake systems. The system comprises a water-intake head, two pumps, stop valves with an anti-sand filter, manifold pipelines along a building, vertical risers with fire hydrants. The anti-sand filter comprises concentrically arranged inner and outer pipes, an adapter. The inner and outer pipes in the upper part are connected to each other with tangential nozzles. The inner and intermediate pipes in the lower part are connected to each other also with tangential nozzles, but aligned oppositely. The circular gap between the intermediate and inner pipes in the upper part, and also upper and lower parts of the inner pipe are equipped with plugs. The external pipe in the upper part is equipped with elastic rings, and with a plug in the lower part. The intermediate pipe is equipped with a filtering element installed inside and made as a perforated reverse cone with perforation ratio from 50 to 85%, and arranged axisymmetrically to the intermediate pipe.

EFFECT: extended duration of system operation.
