FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in a starter for an internal combustion engine, which contains an electric motor with four constant excitation magnets, a solenoid switch, a freewheel clutch of ratchet type and a power planetary reduction gear, an electromagnetic coil of the solenoid switch is arranged inside the cover plate of the starter housing coaxially to its longitudinal axis, a terminal device of startup of the starter electric motor is freely put on the carrier shaft of the power planetary reduction gear, and as a core of electromagnetic coil there used is a shank of a drive cage of the freewheel clutch, a drive gear of the driven cage of which is arranged in its initial located on the reverse side of a toothed rim of the internal combustion engine flywheel by means of an elongated intermediate sleeve part between them; return spiral spring of the freewheel clutch is arranged between the carrier of the power planetary reduction gear and the shank of the drive cage of the freewheel clutch; shaft of the starter electric motor armature is made together with a sun gear of the power planetary reduction gear; in order to simplify the device design and to reduce length of the starter housing cover plate, the terminal device of startup of the starter motor is arranged inside the cover plate of the starter housing, which is freely put on the carrier shaft of the power planetary reduction gear; its carrier shaft on one end is arranged in a detachable thrust sliding bearing, which consists of two halves and being in threaded connection with a central hole of the electromagnetic coil of the solenoid switch, which is fixed in the starter housing cover plate, and on the other end it is arranged in the thrust sliding bearing of the starter housing cover plate; the shaft shank of the starter motor armature, which is made together with the sun gear of the power planetary reduction gear, is arranged in the sliding bearing of its carrier shaft; return shaped spiral spring of the freewheel clutch is arranged between the shank of its drive cage and a thrust collar of the carrier shaft of the power planetary reduction gear, in the freewheel clutch, for a separator there used are cylindrical spiral springs arranged in grooves on outer surface of the separator between its projections and projections of the drive cage; in the terminal device for closing of rectangular terminals of copper contact bolts of startup of the starter motor there used is a movable thrust plastic ring with a built-in cast-iron magnetising ring and a terminal copper ring, the movement of which occurs at the activated electromagnetic coil of the solenoid switch and at the magnetised cast-iron ring to the end of the drive gear of its freewheel clutch with indrawing electromagnetic force. In the freewheel clutch there used for the starter are spiral cylindrical springs that are more reliable in operation and easy-to-manufacture and arranged in grooves made on outer surface of the separator between its projections and projections of the drive cage of the freewheel clutch.
EFFECT: improving compactness of a starter, simplifying its design, reducing the number of parts and improving reliability and operating life of the starter.
