FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to measure water level comprises a reservoir 2 installed on the coast of a watercourse 1 with a pressure sensor 3 (differential manometer) connected by means of a discharge tube 4 with an elastic chamber 5, which is fixed to the upper plane of the horizontal diaphragm 6 with holes 7. By means of a pipeline 8 a reservoir 2 is communicated with a well 9. The pipeline 8 is installed with an inclination towards the bottom of the well 9. The well 9 is covered with a double-layer closed chamber 10 of a water resistant soft elastic material with sealed ends and is fixed to the upper edges of the sides of the well 9 by means of clamps. The cavity of the chamber 10 reservoir by means of a tube 11 via a three-way valve 12 is communicated with atmosphere and a source of compressed air 13. Above the well 9 over the double-layer closed chamber 10 there is a protective cover in the form of a grid 14, having a dome-like shape. The grid 14 is fixed with one end to the bottom 15 of the watercourse 1 by means of a hinged joint 16 in the form of a horizontal axis and has a drive 18. The side walls of the well 9 are made with cantilever walls 20 arranged under the lower layer of the double-layer closed chamber 10 by two rows meeting at the bottom of the well 9.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement by exclusion of sedimentation effect at device components.
