FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fodder production, in particular, to methods for production of extruded feedstuffs of vegetal raw material wastes and may be used at feedstuff enterprises and livestock farms. The feedstuffs production method involves grain raw materials treatment, milling and extrusion under a pressure of 3-6 MPa. The grain raw materials are represented by sunflower husks and offal; each component is separately milled, preliminarily subjected to shock freezing till the temperature is from - 20 to -160°C. Before extrusion sunflower husks are mixed with offal at a ratio of 20-80% of the sunflower husks to the mixture total weight; mixing is performed in the presence of a 5% solution of sodium hydroxide Na(OH) and 4% solution of sodium carbonate Na2CO3 in an amount of 1-5% of the mixture weight (either ingredient); extrusion is performed at the mixture moisture content equal to 16-20% at a temperature of 90-120°C; after extrusion the product is dried at a temperature of 20-30°C till moisture content is equal to 12-14%.
EFFECT: invention usage allows to enhance nutritional value, digestibility, fodder value of the extrudate and reduce its prime cost.
