FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway wheeled vehicles. Proposed brake comprises brakes shoes with lever-type control system, brake main line, air control valve and spare tank with communication lines. One of control levers is connected with brake cylinder rod and slotted clevis to accommodate extra cylinder rod pin therein, extra cylinder including compression spring. Annular grooves are made on extra tank cylindrical surface generatrix to interact with spring-loaded solids of revolution fixed in radial channels of spring-loaded piston. Extra tank under-piston chamber is communicated with pipeline feeding compressed air from air control valve via feed valve to charge said extra tank. Said feed valve operates at compressed air pressure higher than that required to retain railway vehicle in braked state.
EFFECT: simplified design.
