FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: turbojet bypass engine comprises a body, in which a primary flow passes via a compressor, a combustion chamber, and on the outlet from it discharged via a turbine into a fairing of the primary jet nozzle, and also a thrust reverser. The thrust reverser comprises diversion facilities, which may divert the primary flow at the outlet of the rear extreme part of the body in such a manner that diverted gases of the primary flow meeting with the secondary flow reduce speed of discharge of the latter backwards, causing thus effect of reverse thrust. The secondary flow is discharged downstream the body. In the position of thrust reversing the diversion facilities are circumscribed radially inside the section of the fairing of the primary jet nozzle at the level of the rear extreme part of the body. The rear extreme part of the body is free from the movable part moving into the thrust reversing position from the normal working position.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify design and reduce weight of a thrust reverser.
