SUBSTANCE: impeller for a centrifugal pump comprises a radially inner bushing and blades stretching forward and in the direction perpendicular to the axis of impeller rotation. Blades stretch from the radially outer end to the radially inner end, and the outer volume is determined, which has a form of a truncated cone. The component of flow control is formed between the radially inner end of the blades and the bushing. The flow control component has a bent upper surface.
EFFECT: prevention of cavitation in centrifugal pumps.
