SUBSTANCE: tool has two parts, specifically: a supporting arm (120) and a cap (110) mounted thereon. Said supporting arm has on each of its two parallel transverse sides a clamp (122) on the outer portion of which there is at least one latch tooth (123) which can be latched onto a base. According to the invention, at least one clamp of the supporting arm is rigidly connected to the rear side of the cap facing the supporting arm by a connecting bar (124), having at least one elastic area (124A) such that when mounting the cap on the supporting arm, there is elastic deformation of the connecting bar, which pushes said latch sideways outside the tool. The invention also relates to a wiring unit having a corresponding electric device and said tool, as well as a wiring unit having a corresponding wiring duct and said tool.
