FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light and strong thin elastic latex gloves having reinforcement sections thin intense stretching and/or movement zones. The glove contains a knitted lining having reinforced sections within high load zones, formed of mostly non-reinforced sections formed only of stitches with denier equal to 221 or less. The non-reinforced sections of the knitted lining include a great part of the thumb, the palm elements, at least one reinforced section positioned at the base of the thumb element, in the palm element, or their combination, as well as a polymer latex coating adherent to the knitted lining, the polymer latex coating penetrating into the bulk of into the knitted lining (to a distance of half the thickness or deeper) within at least part of the knitted lining. The polymer latex coating fails to penetrate through the whole of the knitted lining thickness; the polymer latex coating has a thickness varying within the range from 0.75 to 1.25 of that of non-reinforced knitted lining; the sections of coated non-reinforced knitted lining have thickness from 0.6 to 1.14 mm; flexibility of latex-coated sections of non-reinforced knitted lining is essentially similar to that of thus coated non-reinforced knitted lining without penetration throughout the whole depth. Additionally described are methods for the gloves manufacture and application.
EFFECT: improved functional characteristics of the gloves.
