SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft landing gear cowls, particularly, to single-engine aircraft with fixed landing gear. Landing gear cowl adjoins the wheel from behind to displace backward and upward with the help of pivot, parallelogram or two-lever mechanisms or via guides. Cowl is driven by air-, or fluid-cylinder, or electrically driven turn-buckle, or manually.
EFFECT: decreased aerodynamic disturbance.
