FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method to prevent slipperiness of a road surface consists in the fact that deicing reagents are applied onto the surface in the amount corresponding to their balanced melting capacity, differentially defined according to freezing curves of 1-100% aqueous solutions of deicing reagents built for any temperature in the range of [-1-(-20)]°C in coordinates: mass fraction of deicing reagents - temperature of crystallisation start, which are read automatically under atmospheric pressure of (84.0-106.7) kPa. Deicing reagents are chemical reagents selected from the following group: ammonium salts and salts of alkaline and alkali-earth metals in the form of chlorides, acetates, phosphates, formates, nitrates, their mixtures, also with carbamides and/or in a combination with friction, non-soluble materials. An automated plant is used to build freezing curves.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of setting norms of consumption of deicing reagents due to more accurate determination of the melting capacity value, provision of the possibility to determine justified norms of consumption of deicing reagents as they are applied to prevent winter slipperiness, and also provision of the possibility to reduce negative environmental load at soil of off-the-road shores and water drains of storm water sewage.
