FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers, particularly barrels and to chimes provided on the upper part of the said containers, and to the chime itself. The chime is made with the ability to fix on the upper part of the container and comprises an inner hub with fastening means, a plurality of legs extending in radial direction outwards from the inner hub and ending in the rim wall of the flange, thereby the flange engages the circumferential side wall of the said container, and the outer flange is spaced from the inner hub. At that the fastening means of the inner hub is made with the ability of dismountable fixing of the chime to the neck part of the said container.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability of fixing of the chime to containers of different sizes.
