FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: applied is lower layer of titanium, molybdenum and silicon nitrides at the following ratio of components in wt %: titanium - 96.15-97.35, molybdenum - 2.0-3.0, silicon - 0.65-0.85. Then mid layer of carbonitride of titanium, molybdenum and silicon is applied at the following ratio of components, wt %: titanium - 96.15-97.35, molybdenum - 2.0-3.0, silicon - 0.65-0.85. Then top layer of carbonitride of titanium and molybdenum is applied at the following ratio of components in wt %: titanium - 95.5-97.0, molybdenum - 3.0-4.5. Coating layers are applied by three cathodes located horizontally in one plane. First and second compound opposed cathodes of titanium and molybdenum while third compound electrode of titanium and silicon arranged there between. Lower and mid layers are applied by three cathodes while upper layer is applied by first and second cathodes.
EFFECT: higher cutting efficiency.
