SUBSTANCE: supporting rest comprises retaining facilities for retention of a profiled section, where other parts of the specified structure may be mounted. The supporting rest comprises a part of the base with a guide structure. Moreover, the supporting rest comprises a sliding part, which includes retaining facilities for a profiled section and which is mounted as capable of sliding onto the guide structure of the base part for arrangement of retaining facilities for a profiled section in the required angular position, providing for the possibility to compensate for possible inclination of a flat roof. The supporting rest also includes fastening facilities to fix the sliding part in the specified required angular position on the base part.

EFFECT: improved supporting system for freely standing structures on a flat roof.
