FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: in a radio system which includes N≥4 radio objects, having predetermined not necessarily accurate coordinates of the phase centre of the transmitting antenna of the object in a given Cartesian coordinate system, the time of receiving radio signals transmitted by the object is recorded in a given time reference system, and spatial coordinates of the object are measured through introduced parameters in accordance with given simple measurement equations. The method enables high-speed automatic measurement of coordinates for a large number of objects and can be implemented by modern hardware components and microprocessor technology.
EFFECT: high efficiency and simplification of corresponding radio systems.
