FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to breeding and cultivation of invertebrates, namely, medicinal leeches, and can be used for breeding and cultivation of medicinal leeches in vitro. The method of breeding of medicinal leeches consists in the fact that two individuals are placed in a container with water and a layer of shungite. The container is placed in the obscure rooms at room temperature. After the appearance of the fertilisation girdles the leeches are transferred to the breed shed. The breed shed comprises a layer of shungite, water and peat. The cocoons while maturation are placed into individual containers with shungite and water. The filamentous algae are fed in separate containers till achievement of the desired size.
EFFECT: increased finite number of full-fledged leeches and reduction of the total time of breeding leeches.
