FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to compaction of powder by upsetting with twisting. Proposed press comprises bed with crossbars with hydraulic cylinder secured in one of them. Cylinder piston is engaged with slider fitted in bed guides. Shaft with die holder secured at its one end is fitted at the bed other crossbar. Said shaft runs alternately in opposite directions, being driven by two-arm rocker. Rocker arms are engaged via con-rods with crankshaft cams. Said shafts are arranged in symmetry about two-arm rocker and are drive by motor via appropriate gearing.
EFFECT: higher quality of compaction, lower process loads.
