FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: mulching composition contains lignosulphonate, carbamide, Na-carboxymethyl cellulose, potassium chloride, water and, as natural additives, Jungermanniales moss and Juniperus virginiana Aureospicata juniper needles, in the following ratios, wt %: lignosulphonate 0.1-0.4, carbamide 0.2-0.6, NA-carboxymethyl cellulose 0.3-0.4, potassium chloride 1-3, Jungermanniales moss 10-15, Juniperus virginiana Aureospicata juniper needles 8-9, and water - the balance. Other versions of the mulching composition are disclosed which contain Juniperus virginiana Aureospicata juniper needles in the following ratios, wt %: 9.1-9.5 and 9.8-11.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of soil mulching compositions.
