SUBSTANCE: invention is a bacterium of the family Enterobacteriaceae, which is a producer of L-amino acid selected from the group consisting of L-threonine, L-lysine, L-methionine, L-isoleucine, L-asparagine, L-aspartic acid, L-glutamine , L-glutamic acid, L-proline, L-arginine, L-citrulline, and L-ornithine. At that the said bacterium was modified so that expression of the gene ompW in the said bacterium was strengthened. The invention also relates to a method of production of L-amino acid using the said bacterium.
