SUBSTANCE: method of controlling the washing machine is proposed, having a drum with the rotation axis passing through the center of the drum, according to which the drum is rotated in the first movement, with a first predetermined angular velocity so that the drum reference point set initially in the initial position is rotated around the axis of rotation, and the reference point is any point on the lateral side of the drum, then the angular velocity of the drum is changed while moving the reference point by the first predetermined distance around the axis of rotation of the drum, the drum rotation is performed with the second predetermined angular velocity, and the angular velocity of the drum is changed while moving the reference point by the second predetermined distance around the axis of drum rotation so that the drum reference point returns to the position which substantially represents the initial position.

EFFECT: various movements of the drum drive in accordance with each of the washing cycles and stages of each cycle.
