SUBSTANCE: device contains protection subsets installed at feed-ins of the above line; each subset contains starting element of the HF receiver, manipulation unit of the HF receiver with outputs connected to inputs of high-frequency receiver starting unit that prepares protection tripping circuits, power circuit breakers and also a group of current transformers at respective end of power transmission line which serve as information sources for protection of power transmission line, auxiliary starting unit that blocks protection at short-circuiting occurred behind substation transformers, AND gate is introduced additionally to the device to each protection subset to remote backup unit and to its input through interface unit outputs of current and voltage transformers at respective line end and output of phase comparator are connected.
EFFECT: ensuring high-frequency phase-differential protection for power transmission line with voltage of 110 - 220 kV and two-way feed in combination with remote protection system and switching devices of substations connected to branches of the above line.
