FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to making synthetic gloves for medical examination. A nitrile rubber glove for medical examination consists of a glove body which represents an elastic layer of nitrile butadiene rubber. The glove body has a chlorinated first surface forming a glove body side to be put on, and a non-chlorinated second surface forming a holding surface of the glove surface. Al elastomer glove also comprises a substantially uniform distribution of the release agent distributed over the non-chlorinated second surface of the glove body. The elastomer glove has: (a) an average thickness of 0.03 to 0.12 mm within a palm of the glove body determined as per the standard ASTM D3767; (b) the non-chlorinated second surface of the glove body characterised by a mean-square surface roughness within approximately 3.00 mcm to approximately 6.55 mcm; and (c) a defect rate less than approximately 1% when the elastomer glove is tested for point defect, generally as per the standard ASTM D5151-06.
EFFECT: higher breaking strength and elasticity of the gloves.
