FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: to determine generalised parameters of conductivity of a measured multi-element dipole RLC circuit, balancing of current components is used via an RLC circuit, which vary in accordance with the law of n, (n-1), …, 1, zero extent, and compensating current created by the multi-element potentially frequency-independent dipole (PFID) with controlled parameters. At the same time sources of measurement errors are excluded, which are specified by shunting action of the measurement circuit at impedance of the measured RLC circuit and PFID, and also by presence of cophased voltage at the inlet of the current-voltage converter. The metre preserves the property of separate balancing and expanded functional capabilities, making it possible to create devices to determine parameters of various versions of multi-element dipole circuits and substitution circuits of R-C, R-L and R-L-C type.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of parameters of measurement objects in a metre with supply by voltage pulses, having a shape of the function of n extent of time, due to exclusion of a group of measurement error components.
