SUBSTANCE: helicopter 1 comprises drive 6 with air intake inlet channel 12, rotor 3 engaged with drive 5, and encased transmission arranged between rotor 3 and drive 6. Helicopter 1 comprises at least one air intake 20 including first inlet 21 communicated with inlet channel 12, at least one second inlet 22 communicated with transmission case 23 and deflectors 30 to interact with airflow F to separate the latter in first and second airflows. Besides, said air intake 20 comprises guide elements 31, 32, 37, 53 to direct first airflow in first path P and second airflow in second path Q separated from said first path P to extend from deflectors 30 to second inlet 22.

EFFECT: optimised engine efficiency and cooling of transmission.
