Control system 10 comprises data base 38 to store priority data on operating conditions of multiple cold consuming assemblies (16a-d, 18a-d, 20a-d) under different operating conditions. Control signal oscillator 40 can generate signals to control feed of cold to cold consuming assemblies (16a-d, 18a-d, 20a-d) in response to appropriate control signals and appropriate priority data stored in data base 38.
